Are you over your countries age of consent?

I suppose this is to go along with the Are you a Virgin thread. Allot of members are too young legally to have sex, not that it would stop you rampant rabbits but from looking at this table, allot of countries have ages as low as 12... Britain is 16 and thats old enough.

I was wondering the proportion of people who are too young to legally have sex in their country, or if they had sex before they reached that age or if the law put them off until later.

Also, what should the age of consent be, if there was a worldwide law on the matter?

As for a worldwide age of consent, it would not be very easy, as it has to do with moral values, and those vary widely.

I think the legal age should be 18, when people are mature enough to do it and think about the consequences. It doesnt make sense to me that people can do something with such long lasting consequences as having sex (STD's and Babys) while not get married for another 2 years.
