I can't help but notice the red orchestra mod has not immediately swooped in with its own forum. My first thought was that there is a bit of racism against old mister unreal engine, but that makes no sense with the other games that are hosted. So, just wondering, is this game big enough to warrant its own piece of the pie? Or shall it remain in forum limbo, never to be discussed?

I'm not so sure. By using Steam, Red Orchestra is tapping into a group of gamers who buy 'realistic' team, objective-based shooters such as DoD and CS (or their Source variants). This is far-removed from the audience more likely to have played their mod on UT2k4; the high-octane deathmatchers who bought UT2k4 for its high-octane (team)deathmatch-style gameplay. So I'm not so sure the sales will be disappointing.

Personally I don't think much of it. I will add a forum for it but only if we actually get some threads about it first. Right now its not popular enough.

haven't seen many RO threads except for that one in General Games and not many people here have the game either.
until these things change there doesn't seem to be a need for an RO sub-forum.
