This is because your taking what people are like now and extrapolating it thousands of years into the future (which isn't that long). Whatever conclusion you drew (assuming it's biological, which I think it was) is going to be wrong.

Women won't innovate, they won't build new technologies. They won't sit in dark rooms devising amazing solutions to problems and work endlessly on improving some gadget. They'll be too busy socialising and worrying about the blood spewing from their bloody vaginal passage. Gaping, moist, pungent.

They will become managers of banks and useless cosmetic companies. Completely useless human beings. Men will manage spaceship projects to harvest crystals from distant asteroids that will power our future. Useful, infinitely useful.

When it all goes to shit, physical strength will then become the dominant factor in our cultures. when we collapse back into cruddyness. Once more we men will rule our tribes, we will have harems, bitches will be ours to rule.

I'm pretty sure the male-female cultural divide is purely a result of how we're brought up. There are lots of women who care about developing new technologies and making the world a better place, just as there are a lot of men who only care about having enough money to get some ass and buy more collars for their shirts. Fifty years ago, the ratio of productive women to useless women was much lower, and it's probably only going to get better from here.

Relationship (as in marriage) failures are, in my opinion, a cultural thing - people get married when they're not ready for a lifetime commitment, people get married to incompatible people, people have a different definition of marriage, etc. If you're not the k-selected type, marriage may not be for you. Breaking a species up into two separate sexes drives genetic diversity, which is a defense against life-altering environmental changes (including pathogens and predators). If you take this away, you're betting your entire species that you can do it better manually. Our intellect (as a species, not individuals) has pretty much dealt with the predator problem, and it's got a pretty good grip on the environmental problem. It has only a slippery grip on the pathogenic problem. Specifically, if the ladies cut males out of the reproduction equation, they have only the current genetic snapshot at that time to work with. Polar bears, killer whales, members of the Panthera genus, for example, will still not be a threat to the entire population. Extreme climate change will certainly be problematic, but won't be the end. A single strain of a new, nasty virus, however, would be a deal breaker.

I think what's happening is that both males and females find themselves in a sexual culture that's changing faster than they can. Heck, women are still not fully sexually prepared for the change in human cranium size over the last several thousand years. Only recently, from an evolutionary standpoint, did we break the problem of predation and environment, and here we are with all this spare 'currency' but without the experience to know how to spend it.

Or... Dynasty just needs to get some mud for his turtle.
