There's 5 million Italians living there, which is more population than even your LARGEST city in Canada, if I'm not mistaken... or at least pretty damn close to it.

Before I got promoted, I worked in the same patrol district for 7 years. This district was full of these idiots, all of them with Dale Earnhardt stickers in their back windows or Dale Earnhardt flags flaying from their front porches. About every third one of them actually owned a race car, and during the warm months they'd be outside working on them, revving the engines up and causing people to call in on them. To a man, all of them spoke with some degree of a southern accent, but none of them were from the south. I kid you not, I went on one call where the guy's complaint was, "Joe-Bob stole my race car." That was actually the guy's name. Joe-Bob. Another time, I had a chick ram her car into her ex-boyfriend's house because he wouldn't give her back her NASCAR Matchbox cars. Then, the absolute icing on the cake, was the guy I arrested for having sex with his male dog. Or rather, allowing his male dog to have sex with him. This might have nothing to do with NASCAR, but then again, it might have everything to do with NASCAR. So, yep, I hate people who like NASCAR too.

I swear we're fraternal twins separated at birth.

My school only has about seven black people out of 800 or so (small school). However, for the lack of blacks, there's an abundance of wiggers which annoy me to no end. I want them to go to Detroit and see how it really is. Bitches. I hate people who do not exercise common sense and people who ask obvious questions for the sake of talking. I don't consider myself racist; my hate for people generates from their actions, not from a skin pigment.

Nudity is also tolerated in US television, even during evening hours. Check out the Travel Channel specials on present day African and South Pacifican "indian" tribes.
 
I probably have subconcious prejudcies like everyone else but the guy in charge is completly anti-racism.

Related story:
My sister went to America for the Summer 2 years ago. Some guys she knew went too. They said that they where never racist, until they met some black people. They where apparently working somewhere or other (can't quite remember where now). It was a really crappy job but it paid well and everyone got on with it, except the black guys working there who wouldn't shut the **** up about how everyone was against them and how they where treated so bad and got all the crappy jobs and they never did any ****ing work what so ever.

Idiots come in all colors. I have met some whites who blame their lack of employment on illegal hispanics "stealing" their jobs. It's a similar mentality to the one you described. Just playing devil advocate's here, but if those black guys were in fact overqualified for the jobs they were doing, perhaps their whining had some merit. Just a friendly thought :)
