Are you shallow as all hell?

Ack, I'm really upset that so many of you look down so far on yourselves. Being attracted to hot women isn't a flaw in design, it only means you're working perfectly.

There isn't a single destination or goal for everyone, there's no sense in trying to feel bad for people "down the ladder" because realistically, they aren't. They're at the highest point on their own god damn ladder. Some people just don't like to accept the ladder they are given, and start jumping on other's ladders, but fall off and land on the bottom of their own ladder, starting over again.

Consciously I'm not a shallow person, but it's strange how I'm drawn to the "beautiful people".
Example: Two girls in my lab. One, 17. Other, 23. I'm 25. Who am I interested in? The 17 year old. Why? She's beautiful. I'm kind of annoyed by the 23-year old. Is it her personality? yes and no. She irritates me in ways. Like her fake smile sometimes when I interact with her. I really really hate that. It's fingernails across a blackboard irritable. She's a nice girl. Maybe it was her cool response to my assistance with her medical school application essays(meaning she was not too receptive). One would think that since I'm in medical school, she would look upon my advice as gold. But, she writes horribly and then refuses to relinquish parts of her essay that are cliched and bland. But I just can't help but feel that i'm only interested in the superficial that I find the 17 year old attractive and can't stand the 23-year old. ok, that was more than necessary. Does anyone else feel this way sometimes?

Yeah. For example a lot of celebs that the average person cant seem to stop creaming themselves over, i dont find particularly special, or even attractive in many cases.

I'm a tad shallow I'll admit. But not to the point where, if I were to say meet a girl with a great personality, instantly discard her as a potential "girlfriend" because she has a couple extra pounds or some such, because i'm not the prettiest thing to look at myself lol...
