Back in the good old days of Red Alert 2, I was fortunate enough to run a major RA2 website. Westwood Studios gave free copies to nearly every major RA2 website of the expansion pack, Yuri's Revenge, days before it was officially released. Best of all, they were free :)


I don't have that kind of break here, lucky you. Oh well, I will wait.

its possible for sure...a game goes gold about a week before it ships so...have fun and keep us up to date with some screenies.....only screenies!! no details!!

Even if you get HL2 early, what if Steam won't accept / issue HL2 subscriptions before 9/30? would you have to get the ultra cool single player version early, then upgrade to MOD/MP later? :\ I dont know
 
I've already made a mod for it. Sierra has picked it up to publish it as an add-on pack. Should be out September 29th, so keep your eyes open!

Ok, French jokes make you as bad as any nationality making fun of America. I personally think recent information about lack of weapons and the violence in iraq give them a good reason to resent us (country jokes still lame).

Why make fun of the French? Cause they didn't want to have america go to war. They have a better reason to resent us.

and ww2 was over 50 years ago, we can't justify whatever we want with "we saved you in ww2"

Generalisation is a terrible thing which unfortunately comes out of the natural human need to fit things into categories in order to better understand the world.

Even if a lot of people from Fictionalcountria are arrogant, or violent, or whatever the case may be, you can't start saying things like "Fictionalcountrians are arrogant\violent". You know why? Because even if many people from the country are, you're still insulting the people who aren't. There are always exceptions, and even if there's only one individual who's not like you say, you can't generalise without being wrong and wrongfully accusing that individual.

Nobody has the right to have an oppinion about a country's population as a whole, because nobody knows the entire population of that country personally. It's ok to say "Some americans I've met are arrogant", but "Americans are arrogant" is not ok.

It's also stupid to say "We saved you in this or that war", because you are acting like you had personal involvement. The past actions of other people (even if you are from the same country as them) can not possibly give you any more or less credit for anything. It's like racism. Just because you were born in a country that did this or that, you're entitled to more respect. What nonsense. It's not like you have any say in where you're born.

Also, nothing gives anyone good reason to resent a whole country. Even if Bush did attempt to manufacture evidence of weapons, that only really gives you reason to resent his actions (or the collaborative decisions of the government), since you definately can't say that all americans would have done the same, or even that all americans agree with bush, or even that all americans like bush.

Ok, I'm ranting, so I'll stop. lol this always happens when I listen to big epic pieces of music (ie Wagner and various other late-romantic stuff)
