OFP2 will suck, it's not even being done by Bethesda
Fixed ty, anyway xlucidx, OFP2 is being done by Codemasters inhouse, and expected to release in 2k8/2k9, originally Bohemia was supposed to dev it but they had a major failure in their relations to eachother(Dunno exactly why or what happend) so Codemasters decided to find another developer to do an entirely new game and engine from the very ground up.
So I got in another game, and it ran pretty good, by that it looked pretty good and I was getting about 30-40fps average I think. Wasn't great.
Great game, great experience. Just runs badly on me 6600GT and AMD 3000+ 64bit
Disappointed with AA, it's just OFP with greatly enhanced grahics, the netcode, bugs, interfaces are all the same which is kinda depressing considering they have been around for 5 years or so... still gameplay wise it's fun as ever, just very frustrating with the clipping glitches and so fourth.
Hope they fix it before release!
Wasn't there something about Post Processing in the menu? I can't remember.Turning HDR off would probably help, but I didn't see any way to do it.

I already mentioned how to in this thread. Go to my documents/arma demo/armademo.cfg and set hdrprecision to 0 then make the file read only. Then go into yourname.armaprofile and set viewdistance to like 700 and scenecomplexity to between 60000 and 90000 (i have it at 80000) and make that file read only too. That should give you a big fps boost.Unfocused said:Turning HDR off would probably help, but I didn't see any way to do it.

I'll see how this works for me thanksI already mentioned how to in this thread. Go to my documents/arma demo/armademo.cfg and set hdrprecision to 0 then make the file read only. Definately worth purchasing along with Resistance, absolute classics reinstalled 'em both yesterday infact, gameplay is still as fun as ever!Hm, actually, the HDR is still there and yes, I have set it to read-only and the hdrprecision is at 0. Strange...
I tried that scenario with the island and that was 10fps on low I think. Too bad, cause I had fun crashing a Blackhawk in a whole enemy squad and surviving by parachuting. Actually it hit like 10m next to them but I guess the blast killed 'em. Too bad the two remaining survivors shot me.
I think I'm gonna buy OP:F.
