You'd rather arrive to City 17 by train or the "Borealis" icebreaker?

Train.

Wohoo, train has 100%! 2 votes ( . ) ( . ) <-- it's a smiley

The ship would have been cool, but c17 has more atmosphere.

well im pretty sure you get there in a train, The train station bink.

Yes you are going to arrive in a train, but in the early stages of hl2 development gordan was going to start on the ice-breaker ship (read the gs article)

You know, I'm saying train because I'm fairly sure valve knows what I'll like more, better than I do myself- seriously. :)

With a train, you can look out the window and see so many things.

With a boat, you can look out the window and see.. water.

I really like the train idea better... that and its kind of "modern-nostalgia" reference to the original.

I dunno the icebreaker just sounds to "x-files" like for half-life.

the borealis is cooler, and the train trip is very short anyway

Boat .
i would like to be on deck, looking at the horizon, and then somebody would call out land ahead!!!
and you would see at a distance city 17 in all its wonder, at sunrise , and slowly arrive, this way you could see what you are in for.

nah the train makes it feel more like a "prison transfer" kind of arrival feeling i think...

Besides being out on the open ocean and just the openess of it would be to condractining (sp) to the openings theme.

Yeah, your right.

i wanna ride in on the Gman, how sweet wud that be

A boat would definatly be the scarier way to go.
