naw, im not from ArsTechnica. ive been reading these forms for like 6 months, i just never post. i saw this recently and just decided to post it as no one else had yet. just trying to keep everyone in the loop of HL2 news over the net.

For anybody who thinks CZ sucks, Valve has been putting a lot of effort into it with new player models, gun models, better sound, maps, exploit fixes, and -- AND -- hostage upgrades this week in 1.2, including -- HOSTAGES CLIMBING LADDERS.

This is stuff that people have been screaming for for years. When I play CZ online I hear lots of good things about the new look. Take it as Valve-fanboy if you want, but the game is actually a lot more fun because it looks and sounds so much better.
