hey guys, i have exams atm but in a few days i break up for holidays and i need to do lots of drawing but can never think of things to draw that motivate me. So basically, as soon as i have got this school work done, im gonna draw a shortish comic, probably focusing on a group of resistance destroying a strider "behind enemy lines". so ill post it here when im done. just wondering any ideas or cool scenes that could be in it? and id like to think i can draw quite well, here is some old stuff from like a year ago (and they arent pieces i have spent that much time on.) cheers x

Thanks for the kind words people. Yea funnily enough i drew the frist guy during a history lesson whilst studying wwII i think so im sure it was somewhat influenced. anyway i decided to time myself 5 minutes speedpainting, to see if i could get the strider feeling right. yes its a horrible red marker, and sorta rushed, but meh, i think its ok ( the antennae from its head are too thick). ill start proper work on the comic maybe in a week.

Heh, the first guy kind of reminds me of the Clockwork Nazi from Hellboy (you know, when he first has his hat). It's worth my loading times though- those're really neat! I'm always a sucker for sketches

wow... this is all so amazing. i absolutely ADORE your style, especially the use of hatched lines for shading etc.

the strider pic looks great, it has that kind of fluid, but deadly accurate look... like it has just gushed out of your pen and splased into place on the picture. i love it

Were you going for a sort of Japanese mountain terrain for the background there? I love it.

for the strider pic? the back ground is supposed to be smoke from the fire on the left of the pic, but i had to cut off the edges cause it was a wierd size paper, and wouldnt fit in my scanner.

anywho gonna draw some resistance drawings today, so ill put those on tonite.

i know it sorta crap and proportions are off and linework is rough, but i was bored and it was rushed. so meh.
