Assassin's Creed live demo gameplay

Assface D:

I saw "assasins creed live demo!!!!!!!" from the main page.

...and why would you have any reason to believe an Assasins Creed Demo would be out so soon? Is it even coming out for PC?

:|

The word live tells you it's a video right away :/

And I wouldn't really call that gameplay, just in-engine footage.

Sweet, sweet in-engine footage :insert drooling smiley here:

Looks very good, hopefully it will be out before im retired.

Is it even coming out for PC?
Yes. One reason to expect it is a message that said "All the action you just saw will be available to download very soon" on the main screen after X06 was over.

Maybe they meant "download" from Live Marketplace?

I'm sure it will be out for PC too btw....

looks sweet, totally the type of game i want, the animation and prince of persia style moves just look so great, can't wait to play this!

wow - insanely cool.

Fixed with the best word I could think of...
I can't express my feeling towards the hype I have for this game... All I can say is that it may even be greater then the hype for Half-Life 2

The producer is pretty hot and that's enough reason for me to look closely at the game leading up to release.

:\ slow framerate, really choppy animations.

gameplay looks alright. reminds me of prince-of-persia.

Are you deaf? She clearly says the game is still in production so people will witness glitch, animation problem at the beginning of the video.

They showed the game when it was only half finished, just like how Kojima showed MGS4 half-done gameplay at TGS06.

I can't wait to see the Sci-Fi twist in the game

The end of the game is gonna lead up to the present... then to Sam Fisher. I JUST HAVE THAT FEELING!! That guy is Sam Fisher's GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT Grandfather.

I thought of Thief Deadly Shadows, whatever some where Looking Glass Technologies were unhappy  they must continue the series of Thief.

TRUTH!!!!

man i'd love to see a next gen thief game simliar to this or using this games engine...

OMG!! Don't get me that excited!! That would likely be the best game ever!! Heck, I would even like a remake of T: DS with the AC engine for more corded streets and such!

That said, this game looks like one of the best games I have ever seen. But does anyone remember anything about night missions or a day/night cycle? I think I do but I can't remember for sure and night missions would kick a heretofore unheard of amount of ass!!

Too bad that Looking Glass Studios won't continue anything as they ceased to exist in 2000.

It takes place in a huge sandbox style world, so you can bet that's part of the game. Some targets are probably easier to get to during a certian part of the day and so forth.

Isn't this game actually supposed to be set in the future? Either way, looks neat, I can't wait to play.

I think the deal is that this guy is rembering his ancestor through some form of "genetic" memory, and that the player will learn more skills and abilities as the guy remembers more about his ancestor.

AFAIK Eidos both the thief franchise after T: DS and LG going bust, but then eidos went arse up too i think and ubisoft bought the franchise, i read this awhile ago on the TTLG forums, it could be just speculation though, i dunno if ubi bought it...

True, but the people who worked for them are still very alive and contributing to the industry. Emil Pagliarulo, who was a lead designer on Thief at Looking Glass/Ion Storm, worked on the stealth gameplay of Oblivion which was terrific, so I am sure that there are those out there that have taken notice of his work and the work of others on those games and can provide some serious advancements in the genre in the coming months and years. AC seems to be one of the first to be getting it right on the money while taking it further by leaps and bounds!!

That rings a bell here too, but I can't say for sure. Still, they are a pretty good team to have continue the stealthy tradition....

Damn, that looks fine :D

Loving the social stealth and the seemingly huge array of acrobatics. Now I'm just wondering exactly how they were controlling all of that...

Hahaha... holy crap, same dev?? Why do I get the sudden feeling that you could be absolutely right o_O
