Yeah, its the producers from Training Day. The reviews have been pretty average/below. I'm not too hyped up about this film. Ethan Hawke did a brilliant performance in Training Day though. I think I might wait until it comes out on DVD.
I didn't realise John Carpenter directed the original Assault on Precinct 13.
I saw this the other night, and I thought it was pretty good, but as ShadowFox said, the violence was a little over done. I didn't get bored during this movie, like I have with the past several movies I've seen, so I'd say, if you have a few extra dollors, to go see it.
I saw this movie and liked it alot. It is a worthy update of the original, much like the new Dawn of the Dead was a worthy update last year.
Violence and language do earn it an 'R' rating, but that is true to the spirit of the original movie(remember the kid getting shot?).
It's funny, when I watched it I couldn't help thinking of Counterstrike. I thought 'rush in after using the flashbangs, fools!', and don't get me started on those sniper noobs.
