what the ****! is that like suppose to make me feel proud or something?!

i bought new Fender(R) strings today and i just noticed it says "assembled in Mexico of U.S. materials". and i was like, silly US patriotism.

is this for some purpose other than just the psychological effect on buyers. cause you know, it could just say "Fender(R) made in Mexico".

"well you can kiss my shiny metal ass!"

I wish Squires were still made in Japan. :(

If you want a modern one, you may as well use a tissue box and some elastic bands to get a better sound then that crock of shit.

Thanks to modern economic trends you can expect more silly misplaced patriotism and protectionism in the coming year or years.

"Amerifresh tampons! MADE IN MUTHA-****IN' AMERICA, SHOVE THIS HERE SLICE OF LOVE FOR THE HOMELAND UP YA FOR A DAY OF SECURE FRESHNESS!.

I never got that protectionalism stuff, I'de rather have a high quality product that works and works well regardless of its geographic origins.

Except beer, you yanks cant make beer for shit. :P

penis made in America of foreign and domestic materials

I worked in a Distribution Center for retail goods and every single box shows it's origin on it. (90% are made in China)

American Tourister brand luggage is made in china.

One year for the 4th of July my dad had got some little cheap plastic American flags and they had a sticker on them, "made in China"

I agree with jverne about how the "of U.S. materials" thing is mostly psychological.

Americans have been quite disturbed lately how nearly everything these days is made in, "every other country but the U.S.", cuz you know? our loving corporate bastard American politicians have allowed CEOs to outsource all these manufacturing jobs to countries that don't give a shit about quality standards.

Except beer, you yanks cant make beer for shit. :P
Guiness and Heineken is too damn salty for me. :P Nasty shit IMO.
