assult map problems

b4 the patch with the revamped assult map i dwloaded a custom map of assult with the same name "cs_assult" and now this patch has appered with the new map i cant play it because it says "cs_assult map differs from server" or something like that has anybody had the same trouble or knows how 2 fix this

Delete all files named strictly "cs_assault" from your cstrike\maps folder, that is all. :upstare:

Yeah, thats pretty much it. But remember this for the near future. If you cant remember where you put a file or something then goto start, search, I usually pick All Files and Folders. Then it'll say All part of the file or name. I believe you can put the whole file name in there including the .bsp or whatever type of file it is. Or you can go to the bottom line which says A word or phrase in the file. Thats where I put the .bsp's and .wad's. Just remember this for the future.

I hate the windows search for 2 reasons.
It's slow, and the fact that using file indexing for faster searches slows the computer down due to it constantly reindexing files over and over. :|
I used to use it (the search option), then when I found out the side effect of it (the indexing service) slowing your computer, I turned it off.

But hey, I don't have the best computer, so I have very good reasons for wanting to optimize my computer as much as possible.
Besides, what you do with your computer is your buisiness.
