Is anyone familiar with this? It's a feature on my motherboard. A8N-SLI Deluxe Motherboard. I want to try it, but I don't know if it'll blow up my PC, lol.

if u had bothered to google it you woulda found this :

AI NOS™
Boost performance when you need it the most!
Applications such as 3D games and video editing demand a huge chunk of system resource.
Inject "nitrous oxide" into your CPU! The patented AI NOS™ (Non-delay Overclocking System) technology intelligently detects system load and automatically boosts performance for the most demanding tasks. Unlike other dynamic overclocking techniques, AI NOS™ reacts much faster to satisfy your unending need for speeds.

basically it is an overclocking feature much like the overdrive feature on ATI graphics cards :)

Glad i helped ya :P

you should be fine turning it on as long as your system isnt to hot and you actually need the extra power, tho extra power is always a good thing :)

I know what it does but I want to see benchmarks and other tests, I've read the manual & website and saw what AI NOS does.

Well if you know what it does turn it on run a benchmark test then turn it off and run another benchmark test and see if it really is that good

mmm u shodla specified you knoew what it did in your thread, annoying wasting my time for nothing when im trying to write a 30 page report, meh :p

yeah, it wont damage your pc it will have a heat monitoring set up where if it gets to hot it will clock it down, jus do what skarob does, get 3dmark 05 and run it........
