ati cards and halflife 2

i have heard from some people that ati cards will blow away NVIDIA's performance wise for half-life2. i am going to upgrade my video card soon, and if this is true i will get an ati. btw does anyone know what is a good card for 150-200? thanks

Well, for $200 you should definitely go with a 9800 Pro. That will handle all of your Half-Life 2 needs pretty damn well.

As far as ATi blowing nVidia out of the water - you can hold that statement. nVidia's new card line up seems to be on par, if not better, than ATi's latest offerings.
