uhhh last time i checked they were two differant games/engines.....

They are not comparble in the least if you ask me. :|

Farcry is buggy game first off.........

I think what everyone is trying to say is that to infer an unreleased game's benchmark scores on an unreleased card from a released game's benchmark scores on an unreleased card is simply ludicrous. FFS PEOPLE, JUST WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW AND YOU'LL BE BEATING BACK ATI BENCHMARKS WITH A BAT. Thank you.

Thats not the point. They are not the same game....

If you took that vampire game(based on source) and posted a bench from that....ok that would be differant.


Its like saying that because a Kia can go 80mph....that a porche must to.

those benchmarks are what i expected (if they end up accurate...). i figured that as good as nvidia does (which is still awsome concidering the fx series), but that ati will be slightly better ;(

damn if they are right NVidia will be Pissed. FarCry has their optimised PS3.0 shaders aswell.

We will see the scores officially, when it comes out officially. Otherwise, if this info is real facts score ATI, once again and Nvidia... step up that game. Damn, that pic shows the x800xt beating all cards majorly.

Well if you take the past as an example, ATI will do even better when you turn on the FSAA. But just wait and see, because thats not even Nvidia or ATI's top of the line.

there are two benchmarks that have FSAA and aniso on, and the x800xt beats the 6800u at 1024x768 in both benchmarks...
