no read carefully... The ATI Trade-up Program is available only to owners of an ATI or other manufactures graphics card who reside in the United States of America or Canada

sell the 5900 on ebay.(quickly before people realize they suck)

Thats option #2. I wanna know more about this trade program though.

If I remember right the trade up program only gives you a max of 50 dollars towards the new video card. Let me go check.

ya i read something on that. If thats the case theres no way im doing it.

/me really wants to get rid of this pos ;x

After looking at it for a little bit it looks all you get is $50 for your card. You would be better off finding some way to sell the card and not do the trade up program. Ie Ebay, amdmb.com hotdeals forum ect.

i very much doubt anyone would wanna purchase it at the price i want.

bought the card for $440 and i atleast want $350. Sigh i'm gonna have to keep it or try selling it on ebay.

i have a radeon 8500 and i didnt see it on the list to trade in
:(

i have a Geforce 2 MX 400 but i dont think they wont that crap even if i would give it to them... maybe not even if i paid them to take it.. sigh... SOmetime.. or always... My Geforce 2 MX really sucks...
Anyway...
Isnt the trading program just for those lucky people who lives in the states?

its pretty much a scam, since the card on their site are already overpriced i think a 9800pro is 350 with trade in, you can get one for 300 at a store.

It's only for USA people Fat_Bob,
although i don't know if i'd call them lucky.
