I don't live in Seattle, but my advice is to post this on Reddit as well. There are a couple of threads over there that I've seen come up with a lot of useful information when it comes to someone's car getting stolen. You might want to add the license plate # unless your friend is concerned with privacy.

hahah I'd have let the thief have the car. although I'd understand how the owner would be pissed; insurance payout will probably be enough for lunch at taco bell and not much else

That car's worth about 30K with parts. It's an authentic Civic Type R. And I just thought I'd try, man. Not everybody on the internet is an inconsiderate jerk like you.

relax, I just thought it odd you posted a theft on the interwebs that's specific to one geographical area. hell I doubt that you'd find it this way even if every last one of us were in seattle. you'd probably be better off going to local car groups than random users on a gaming forum
