Attn: Look in the games folder in steam, there's a few HL2 files

I was looking in the games folder and noticed 2 files that say icon_hl2_media_dull.tga and icon_hl2_media.tga

I was wondering what these are?

Does anyone know?

Isn't this pathetic, here I am wanting a game so bad resorting to this

This may come as a shock, but they are the icons for the Half-Life 2 media (videos) that was available during the Steam beta.

There was rumour or something that they would start loading HL2 onto peoples hard drives before the release. Maybe these are some of the initial files. *shrug*

The 'hl2_media' gives it away a bit.
