My Audigy 2 ZS seems to crack/pop and sound skip in most games besides HL2. This usually ends up in sudden dips in frame rates. Everytime there is a pop or a crackle, my framerates will dip. I'm not sure whether my video card (9800 pro) poses a problem too as it seems to be sharing its IRQ with 2 universal bus controllers. My Audigy 2 ZS doesn't have any IRQ conflicts though. I've tried most solutions such as updating drivers and disabling onboard sound but the problem still persists. I'm on a P4 2.6 and 1 GB ram, any help will be appreciated.
