Audio Editing

I need a program that lets me edit my audio filles. I need to be able to remove music from the background so all I have are the voices and stuff like that. If anyone knows of some freeware I could use to do this stuff please let me know.

That's almost imposible to do without very much destroying the audio. There's methods of inverting audio against itself and leaving what's coming out of both channels (ie the left and right speakers) or similar, but you'd have to research it a bit. Either way, you won't end up with a vocal track that sounds as good as before it was mixed in with everything else.

Unless you have the seperate tracks, there's no way you can do that well. Goldwave has a "vocal enhancer" thing, and the vocals will be more distinct and everythign else will hard to hear, but the quality is sorta crap.
