Avatar-The Legend of Korra

I find it so funny she's from the water tribe and spends most of her time in the trailer firebending.

Also, Toph's daughter is chief of the METALBENDING POLICE.

It makes sense when you think about it. I believe the premise of the show is that she's going to Aang's son/grandson to learn airbending. Seeing as she's from the water tribe and the correct order is water, earth, fire, air it should be the last thing she learns, so at the start of the show she should either have just mastered firebending or be in the process of it. So it makes sense that she's practising fire a lot. Also, we've already watched Aang and Zuko master water, earth and fire between them. The only thing we haven't seen someone master is air so thank god they decided to pick this one up when she's almost done learning them or we'd have to watch all the same stuff again.

I'm excited for this, I loved the original show, and will likely be watching it again soon.

Shit, that looks great.
I still need to finish the original series.

The animation in that trailer was absolutely beautiful. I'm sure it'll have a story to match it.

Loved the original series. Can't wait for this one. The production values look much better imo

The annoying thing about Legend of Aang was how the third season was not nearly as good as the second. Hopefully that won't happen again.

Yeah, the third season was the weakest of the lot. Still good, though.

Also it's only running for a single season, I thought.

Third was the weakest? Actually I'd say it went second>third>first with the first having a fantastic finale but being a bit week throughout other than that.

Ah yeah, the risible deus ex finale.

I think the best episodes were in the third season, but the overall quality varied much more than the rock-steady (heh) quality of Season Two. For me, S2 was very solid throughout, while S3 ran between rather poor and 'this is the greatest animated television show of all time'. A lot of people complain about Aang's actions during the finale, but all that did for me was make the Last Agni Kai look even more awesome in comparison. That was the emotional high point of the series, not Aang going Super Saiyan. The duel in Wulong Forest ended with me mumbling, "Oh... okay... I guess." The duel in the Coronation Plaza ended with me screaming "Holy shit!" repeatedly.

I definitely agree.

Hmm, sounds like I'll have to rewatch it sometime!

*adds to steadily growing list*

I heard that the originally planned 12 episodes were upgraded to 26 episode. Can't wait! :p

The third season was influenced by the shipping war, especially with the romance sub plot in the 3rd season (like The Southern Raiders episode and Ember Island players episode).

holy dicks im excited for this, avatar was one of my favorite shows of all time.
