We can use our own avatars... Just go to User CP/Edit Avatar/ then scroll to Custom Avatar. You can link, or upload from your comp.

User Cp > Edit Avatar > Upload an Avatar from your PC/Or link to from a another website.

not trying to be mean but didn't u notice avatars that are not in the list...mine for one example/
