i was just looking at some random telescopes and found this funny pic:

take a look at the yellow warning sticker. it warns you about looking directly into the sun.
now this wouldn't be funny if the telescope wouldn't have a price of around 8000$.

Most likely the telescope is being sold to scientists and serious hobbyists. While you'd expect these people to avoid looking at the sun, the company is merely trying to avoid a lawsuit.
