I'm a big fan of Half-Life. First time I ever saw the game was in an article in my PS2 magazine. I am hyped. Best thing was I scored a copy of CZ, so I am now a part of the beta test for the new game Counter-Strike. It's awesome.

But most importantly, I am psyched how you guys patrol the game. When I heard that some maps were released that were not OKed by company, I was really upset. I thought the game was gonna be ruined! I saw a news story about it in Planet Half-Life and man, to think that some jerk was going to ruin the ultimate game ever with some illegal maps that had viruses and keystroke loggers... that would suck. :frown:

But my brother tells me that you guys are always on the lookout, and tell on people when they try to break the law.

Thanks for making HalfLife 2 and keeping it safe from viruses.

yea... it's been rough.. Design takes time and effort..
As a lead designer of the HL2 staff, i have to say that the design of the new Healthpacks was the hardest..

i am the lead delay engineer. i make sure everything gets delayed at valve. if something is on time or people are doing what they said they would be doing at a designated time, i have to keep them in check.

Well as the head food shopper here at VALVe, I take a lot of pride in what I do. Sometimes demand from upper management can get tough but I do what I can.
