Who could forget mechas greatest contribution to the forums?:

In two-score years, when you are brought before tribunal for some unmentionable crime, the press will hound you, snapping at your heels - the very name so scorned, slathering at their lips.
"Lemonking, why did you do it?" they cry in unison, and with a glance upon your features, the answer will speak itself: "Because I am the lemonking, most monstrous amoung men. Reviled yet not feared, secluded in this stout tower far from the eyes of humanity, hiding even from myself."
And in their pity, the press will circulate that cursed name, so ingrained upon your person, throughout the lands as tales of news soon turn to legend. Lemonking will be the name of the shadows beneath children's beds, and lemonking will inhabit the pitch of space and the brackish depths of the ocean.
Sailors and youngrels alike will remember, vaguely, the lemonking as a monster both great in turpitude and small with trepidity.
But the name! The name will remain the constant. A fixed, polar star, burning in the heavens with disgrace unimaginable. The men of future times will look to this star and intone amongst themselves:
"By grace of nature's contingent whim, I Am No Lemonking!"

He went underground after the pressure finally got to him. The insurmountable pressure, bearing down on him like the world on Atlas' shoulders, buckling him to his knees. Day in, day out, being hounded. Expectant faces, questioning faces everywhere he went, turning to faces of disdain, and outright rage. He'd conducted his "experiments," and claimed them successes, but to what ends nobody could surmise, and they demanded answers.

What went through his head after that no one can say, but not long after, he disappeared. And I imagine that it was just in time, for the restless mob was gathering up their pitchforks and torches, and they were coming to demand their answers. They were storming Rich Moneybags' estate, and they would know who the werewolf was.

Mechagodzilla had long before fled the party.
 
Obligatory I miss Brian Damage and Angry Lawyer.

Though I think I spotted Angry Lawyer over on the BadScience.net forums.
 
I WAS missing Brian Damage, and I said it every time one of these threads popped up, and then one day last year he showed up on my user page, posting on my wall. It made me happy. He's working on video games now.
 
I miss Mechagodzilla. Not only was he named after one of my favorite evil kaiju, but his writing was enjoyable. I played Battlefield: Bad Company 2 with Kamikazie just a few days ago OP. He's an awesome chopper pilot.
 
Where did that fairandbalanced guy go ? God I hated his Fox news slogan username.
 
I would say I miss Terminator/Short Recoil, but I saw him post in a thread t'other day, so I no longer care about him.

Bliink disappeared from the internet several years ago. Despite being a dedicated Hetairian, none of us know what happened to her either. She stopped posting both here and there in late 07 (I think) and hasn't visited or posted on either site since. I really hope she's not dead, she was so pretty and remarkably well-adjusted to being an attractive female on the internet.

If I could bring anyone back, it'd be Mechagodzilla. He's all caught up with school and real life and work nowadays. I miss his RAPETASTIC ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION posts in Politics.
