the moving around makes it hard to be accurate in close quarters. the game is perfectly balanced so dont complain about the awp its fine. If your a good player then you can escape the awps with some smokes or whatever. btw sry im posting this but getting proper wasted is just so damn fun. Closequarters argument is a big no. What people will do is switch between their sidearm and their awp really fast, then right and left click in a flam (wikipedia it you musically inept beastards ). I've even seen guys using it almost rapid fire cqb.

Most servers I play on ban the AWP and autosnipes anyhow, I never cared for them and never will, . I want to have fun and without those it's very fun.

right sry i wasnt exactly thinking straight when i posted that it is possible to use the awp to great effect at close range, but only if you are playing against people who dont know how to deal with it. Even the fastest, most accurate awpers can be taken down with a proper rush. Yes, thats not likely to happen on a pub server because nobody there can be bothered to work together. Two smokes on his position, and between you and the sniper give you some cover and some time to work with. Then you should lob a flashbang (make sure you have cover) and a quick one-two to the face and hes dead. In fact, many noob snipers will start to panic once you close in, so much that they dont draw their handguns and they miss all the cqb awp shots. A good ole knifing is the order of the day.

lol...You alll understood me wrong. What I mean is that the aim of the awp was missing at the time. It would zoom in but no AIM...no crossed black lines. just the zoom.

EDIT: I love the AWP, I buy it whenever I get the chance, get a lot of good kills too. That's why I was worried when the AIM was missing when I zoomed in.

lol, about using nades... I just played on a server where the entire other team had AWPs. Nades didnt help much because there was an AWPer in like every corner. I'm not complaing, it was just really funny
