I don't mind one awp I just hate it when you have an entire firing squad of snipers.

If I'm losing, I'll use the AWP.

If I'm getting PWNed, I use the Autosniper.

But all in all, I feel like a weeny using either, I use the man's weapon... THE SHOTTY!

nothing like getting a great kill death ratio and feeling like you've done nothing at all

fact is its a massive heavy weapon that in real life cannot be fired at all standing and without a mount
the awp should never have been included in the game - spec ops and cts dont use them why would they??
in cs the weapon is ridiculously overpowered compared to the other weapons - why can someone take up to 6 assault rifle bullets to the torso and then die from one bullet to the arm (i am aware of the power of the awp but assault rifles are not bloody water pistols)

Even if CT teams did use it, there would only be one sniper. In a game where you can get hit 11 times with a 9mm in the torso, one .338 should not kill you. It is not fair that i walk up to a sniper, shoot him in the head with a 9mm pistol, that watch him turn and shoot me in the stomach with an awp and i die. First all Headshots should be fatal, no matter what you are using. The current system in BS. Second, the awp should be restricted to one or two people per game (depending on team size). The awp should also be a two hit kill. Maybe it takes you down to 25 or 30% hp?

its not that i dont know how to defend against one or two awps, but when the whole damn server uses them its rediculas. i would love to see you try to evade a whole server filled with awps

Now, if the whole server is using it, which I come accross ALOT, I get frustrated very easily by it.

Scout's a real sniper rifle anyway, takes skill

I hate the awp and rarely use it so when I even do use it I suck at it.
But I mainly hate it when there's like an entire team using it, it's gay as ****. It should be set up like if one team mate is using the awp then no one else can use it until that person drops the awp or some shit.

I used to hate AWPs, but then I got some skill and learned how to zomgwtf pwn AWPers at sniping range with the M4 and AK, but I still AWP too. I used to refuse to buy it, being as I sucked with it. Then I realized there was a built-in quickswitch into CS:S, where previously I had been using my mouse scroll to select my weapons. Now I just hit a mouse button on my MX510 twice, and hurray, AWP's in hand again ready to fire. Sure, it's unrealistic, but pretty much every self-respecting AWPer does it, and it's built into CS, so it's not a script or anything.
After using the AWP for a week or so and now that I've gotten pretty damn good with it (I was a hardcore Scouter before AWPing, so all of my sniper tactics are still applied to the AWP basically), I love using it. It's intense having sniper duels, and fun. Plus, it does take a lot of skill, regardless of what anyone thinks.

Of course I never use it, I find it unfair so I use the... other sniper forgot the name.

Now the auto sniper is truely a cheap weapon. click really fast in the persons general direction, you'll get 'em soon enough!

I don't like it but I don't care if it's restricted. I say treat others as you would like to be treated, so I don't use it because I wouldn't want me to use it on myself if of course I was another person.

i moved rankings on many servers, many of whom only clan member get on the rankings W/O awp. and i move up in jumps more thatn 1
