B-hopping & front wheel drive?

I know we're not supposed to discuss the HL2 Beta but I was just wondering, for those whom have played it, if you could still b-hop in it?

I also saw a little AVI clip of the buggy and it looked like it was front wheel drive; that true?

It's hard to tell with low fps you know. But it feels like:
- you can keep speed via jumping (for exemple after a gauss boost)
- there's air control (you can change direction in air much like in HL1)
- you can get a bit of speed by bunny jumping but not that much
