Say you've got a couple million to make a movie with. (And yeah, you have to make a movie with it, to make things easy for me :|)
What kind of movie would you make? Would you do the best with what you have, or just accept the inevitable cheesiness?

Personally, I'd make a zombie movie (of course). I estimate that about half the budget will go towards fake gore.

I don't think you choose to make something low budget and 'arty', it may just be the way others see it when it comes out, or something. Least that's what I think anyway. I wouldn't want to intentionally try to manufacture some low budget film to be arty because the pretentious students out there will like it. But hey, whatever.

I would probably make a zombie film in the vein of The Walking Dead comics, and I'd try to correct all of the things that piss me off about zombie films.

I would make a Movie about a Nazi Moon base, left over from a the Nazi secrete weapons project, and have 2 Clones of Hitler, one that is is normal but doesn't hate Jews, and one that is mentally retarded but has the same ambitions as real Hitler. And have them live together while trying to escape from the base. Pure comedy genius.

It would be called, "Nazi See Nazi Do". The Title has nothing to do with the story.

Man, I would make a film about a future world that has run out of oil, is in complete pandemonium and destruction from various nuke attacks, and is of course, in the late future with all kinds of gizmos and machines. It is a political story of how the world is trying to get back in one piece..

And I would make a comedy definately. When Red Dwarf started out they didn't have much money and after season 1 it became a massive hit.

I would simply do a piece on insurgents in a first world country...

I'd make a Half-Life movie, but entirely from the perspective of a handful of guys holed up in a sealed control room complex. We'd evoke Black Mesa as some sort of 50s missile base so we'd just decorate concrete passages with second-hand electronics. It might end up more like a play than a film because it'd almost all take place in only a few rooms and corridors, and we'd watch from inside as they tried and failed to control the experiment. The final scene would probably be the only two people left alive hugging each other and crying as army bastards cut through the door to the store-room they're hiding in, or the last two people going down to the reactor to try and shut it down, or something.

Or something completely different!
