Hello everybody, I've returned...
Everybody who doesn't know what I'm talking about: http://www.halflife2.net/forums/showthread.php?t=104622&highlight=england
All in all, it was a great trip with a couple of highlights.
I didn't do the funny walk, because I didnt think anyone would really appreciate it. I did go to a pub on my first day in Dover, and I got some cokes for me and my two friends. Then all of a sudden a man comes up and askes our I.D. He looks at mine - I keep looking very mature while he's checking my pass (I'm only 17 btw) - and he gives it back and says it's ok. Then he askes my friend's I.D. and he sees that he's only 17. But I asked for five minutes to finish our drinks and that was that.
Nobody else of our group even got in a club :smoking:
A cool thing was to hear people's opinion in person about political stuff (Iraq = rubbish, national health service = crap, etc ) and regular subjects (apparantly are Arsenal a bunch of bloody wankers) when we had to do street interviews.
But I do love the British culture. I've been to a lot of countries, but I must say there's nothing like England. I'd love to go to visit London and Dublin.
Oh, and I didn't met any HL2.netters (I think).
