Struck out five of the last seven! Way to go Backe! Love to see young guys like that do well in tense situations. This should be a great NLCS series. I think St. Louis has the better team, but boy have the 'Stros been hot lately. Guess you know who I'm cheering for though.

anyway.. im not surprised... Houston has a bullpen which doesn't know how to put out a fire... they were lucky to win against the Braves but i don't think the 'Stros will be too lucky against the Cards' Murderous Row

I can't argue with that. Our starters and closer can get it done any day of the week, it's the rest of the bullpen that suffers. We've got the bat to beat any team, but our bullpen HAS to keep us in the game. Giving up 6 runs in an inning isn't going to do it. There's still plenty of games left though, who knows what will happen. That's the beauty of baseball.
