Backwards headbang?

first of all, great flash Veg..

second, the direction of the headbang doesn't really factor in besides noting on which beat causes the head to be in whatever position. I don't see a difference as no matter what you do, the head will go 1 direction then the other and repeat...the backwards headbang is a necessity in the headbang itself. amirite?

You're overlooking the fact that with the second method, 1 headbang consists of an up and a down which covers 2 beats. But since there are 7 beats in a measure, you can't hit the last up like you could in a normal 8 beat song. And so that up part will begin the next measure, and the direction of your movements will thus be opposite the first measure. This is where you would put emphases on the up part of the bang instead of the usual down, because that's where the beats are really hitting. Once the second measure is done then you are back to down on 1, which is then how it repeats. It's a 14 beat process in all.

Im too drunk atm to pay attention to the flash animation, but nonetheless it was quite epic, my dick got hard.

Enjoy destroying your brain with this nonsense. Headbanging makes you look like an idiot no matter which way you do it.

This is not good. It's like mixing alcohol and drugs, only its Headbanging, erect penis, and alcohol.
Please seek medical attention immediately.

Oh yeah I forgot, thats what a heavy metal concert is.

Man got over that flash pretty quick.

Wow, great demo Vegeta. Music was good as well btw.
/starts Vuze

There was too much creativity in that video.

It disgusts me.

That's what I mean Veg, starting with an up-bang will result in ending on an opposite direction just as if you started with a down-bang...so unless you wanted to end on one particular direction it wouldn't matter...

oh god my head hurts...i have no idea if that's right.

Dammit Veg, you listen to some oddly-timed friggin' music. Say one was inspired by those tracks and wanted to find more. How would one seek out artists with such timing predilections? Your Flash skills have seemingly skyrocketed since Full Life Consequences, as good as that was.

Almost all of Venetian Snares is oddly timed, mostly 7/4. And to give you perspective he's got a shit load of music, especially for just one guy and over not that long of a time span. I count about 400 tracks on my playlist.

I don't think I have any other music by anyone else with odd meter. (Last Step is the same dude)

God me too, I just want to vomit

Ugh, Vegeta, you're just making a simple demonstration video, you aren't supposed to make it look good or interesting to watch

Ugh
Ughhhhhhh

Yeah.

Its just circular headbanging. And having long hair is a multiplier. Every 3 inches of hair doubles the stupidity of any headbang.

I must be doing some damn stupid headbanging then, have lots of love for the windmill.

And Vegeta, you may want to take a look into Meshuggah, it may be heavy metal rubbish but there's some complex time signatures in that, 23/16's and so forth. Though headbanging to it isn't too hard, for the most part there's a 4/4 beat kept on the hi-hat.

It's the Dillinger Escape Plan that worries me D:

Jesus Christ you are talking about headbanging and you bring up techno for **** sakes, Ravioli, get the **** out.

Oh. It's an old thread. I thought I was going crazy and losing track of time.
