Due to time constraints, some of the game cannot be finished on time and so will not be in the initial release.

- Orc Choppa
- Dark Elf Black Guard
- Empire Knight of the Blazing Sun
- Dwarf Hammerer
- Sieges for Orcs, Elves and Dwarves

Apparently, beta showed that these classes were not fun to play, not strong enough, or both.
They have said that these may be patched in a few months after release, but until then these classes will not be playable and only Altdorf and the Inevitable City can be sieged.

You've got it the wrong way around:

- Four of the six capitals won't be in the game during launch, and will be patched in later. That's the reasons those races can't have sieges.
- Those 4 classes have been scrapped completely. Gone. Hasta la vista baby.

Very meh news to me. I haven't followed WO in any way, so I don't even know why people are hyping so much about this
 
They're just very public about scrapping features. The fact is, most MMOs should put things on the cutting board like this. It happens in every healthy development cycle.
 
Kind of dissapointing, I guess it goes to show that no MMO development cycle is without it's hiccups, whether minor or major like this. It seems like it was either this or delay it yet again though (which has happened twice already), and as someone who has it pre-ordered I'd rather not wait till the end of next year just to get my hands on it. At least they were up front about it though, I guess.
