Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)

Absolute knowledge is unattainable. Big Brother would never solve any problems. It would only make things worse.

hehe

If I wanted something like that I would have made a poll. Justify yourself.

I'm kinda scared by some of the opinions here.

"we need a big brother"
"The only way to stop all the terrorists who are mistakenly under the impression that America wants to kill them is to kill them"
"I'd support a totalitarian government if it stopped terrorism"

No wonder Bush has so much support. All he needs to do is say "terrorist" and half of america says "how high."

If everyone in the world was monitored 24/7 I would like a suggestion on how to follow the lives 6 billion people 24/7...

Besides absolute information is not posssible, there is always some way to escape it. All it would do is to take away the privacy of those who dont do bad stuff, not those who does bad stuff.

I do believe a Big Brother will be necessary fro world peace.

but the rest is a little far-fetched...

Do you know anybody who knows everything about a specific subject? I can spend the rest of my life learning about something about a static subject and will never come close to obtain absolute knowledge on it.

The difficulty is magnified by a 100 when the subject of study involves a dynamic person. Imagine have to learn and understand every person in the world. It is not possible.

I would like to point out that most people who support "big brother" are not from the US.

Most Americans want and enjoy their privacy immensly. That is why the Patriot Act is so immensly debated (whether it is right or wrong).
