Base model for Rifle

im working on a Tribes2/Starcraft kinda mod at the moment and i thought id share the base model for a sniper rifle since its a funny story. I found a picture of a rifle that just kinda clicked with what i wanted but it had some problems. Since my modeller and i dont speak the same language (wtf is a nurb lol??) i had to show him my changes by editing the picture. so after 4 hours in MSPAINT i was done. enjoy

Thats the tricky thing eh, i was looking at your mod concept stuff today and realized how easy it is to see something and accidentally use it later without thinking, especially since my mod lends itself to alot of games like starcraft, planetside, unreal and tribes. I'm really conscious of this though so i hope nothing is borrowed without proper thanks. Anyways, the main reason for my post was to show off how well i could photoshop with mspaint.

im not up on all the legal stuff but aslong as i dont make money i can borrow non-trademark pictures right? probably doesnt matter, im canadian. we can download all the mp3s we want lol.

No pathogen, doesn't work that way. Even if your doing something for no profit, your still completely liable. Usually the corps wait for you to spend tons of time on your project, THEN send the letter demanding you stop the project or they sue you for all your worth.

wow, that article shed alot of light on the subject, thanks Mr. Coffee. I think i might ditch that gun and try drawing up my own albeit im no artist by any stretch of the word. What do you guys think?
