Batch convert jpg to tga?

I've noticed that some of the best textures available are in jpg format. Since vtex only seems to work with tga, does anybody know an automatic method to convert jpg to tga?

It simply isn't practical to convert 2,000 files by opening each one up in Photoshop. I imagine someone out there knows of a handy little utility...

Yes, Irfan saved my life many times and its batch conversion tool is amazing, it has lot of options.

Just for future reference, you can record actions in Photoshop and turn them into a batch process. I ran into the same problem as you not long ago and used a batch process in Photoshop to convert all the jpg files into tga's. It sounds like you figured it out though. Good luck with your maps.

Irfanview is the best image viewer out there (although you can even look at text files and video's) and the batch conversion of it is great.
