So, how does this game play compared to Asylum? AA had great graphics and mood but, in my humble opinion, was kind of boring. It felt like everything was on the rails and I quit.

You can't understand how an open world game can be extremely linear when it comes to the storyline?

I was talking about linear gameplay in AA.

still doesnt compute. on rails means you have no control; that your movement has a pre-determined path. you definately could approach quests in various ways in many areas of AA
