I get a bunch of stupid ****ing movie trailers to deal with at the very insertion of the dvd, only one disc, and no special features. WHAT-A-****ING-RIPOFF!:flame:

Ever since the Lord of the Rings special editions were released many months after the regular editions, the majority of companies out there are holding back the special features so that they can be included on some collector's edition set. This is one of the reasons why I haven't bought Sin City yet and that sucks.

But I thought two editions of the Batman movie are already out? The Regular and the Two-Disc Delux-Edition?

EDIT: Yep there is a special edition here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000AU9UYM/102-3085868-5707325?v=glance

Always serch for a SE or CE before buying a dvd. Your mistake.

I wasn't the one who wen't to the store and bought it, damn mom! I'm going to go back to target and hopefully return it to get the SE. But still, I also paid the same price for Kingdom of Heaven i and got TONS of special features. Kind of a rip off to pay ANOTHER ten bucks for what i already should get. A 2nd disk with special features is almost a standard now, all my other movies have a 2nd disk like minority report, the LOTR movies, last samurai, troy, kingdom of heaven.

I agree though that DVD's should be trailer free. When I'm buy I DVD I buy it for the movie not ads.

Special Edition isn't anything overly special, anyway. The documentaries are nice, but I wouldn't watch them more than once, and there are no commentaries.

Well i just went there and they have a *special* price cut thing going on so it's only a few dollars more, but the only problem is the idiots at target always get the smallest shipment in the world so of course they're gone in like an hour. They told me that once the DVD is opened that i can't return it for store credit, so now im stuck with this thing, GG target :sniper:

I'm never buying a new movie from another store again. I'm gonna purchase new movies from www.play.com from now on...

:rolling:

How can a big blockbuster movie like Batman Begins get a DVD without a commentary track? It's a Special Edition! Sadly, this lack of quality is becoming more and more apparent these days. It just gives companies the excuse to come out with another edition somewhere down the road. And then the industry wonders why people like bvasgm would rather download the movie off the net instead of paying for it. :p

I'm going to buy it, regardless if it has special features, I wouldnt buy the dvd if they had special features but not the movie. Would you? :p I feel so happy today.

Call me crazy but I like to by the DVD's to support the movie. If the studio spent millions of dollars with sweat and blood to make a really memorable movie, than the least I can do is support them and get a nice little DVD with some cool documentaries. Besides I am trying to build up a little DVD library.

Is Batman the first thing you say when you wake up?

I was going to get the 2-disc edition, but if there are no commentaries then they get none of my £'s.

i was on the border line of getting it...now i have fallen to the "save your god damn money" side...
