Does anyone else watch this?

I'm watching last weeks episode tonight(UK) and the 2hour one tomorrow.

It's a remake of the old show, and it plain fantastic.

IMO it's better than Lost or the Xfiles or Star Trek, and I never thought anything could beat thoose 3.

It's so layered, with politics, religion, mythology and lots of action.

Anyone else a fan?

Edit: Oh and the occasional scenes of hot imaginary sex.

I've seen a few episodes here and there which really impressed the hell outta me, but I've never been able to fit it into my viewing schedule. Maybe if I ever get Tivo or something gets canned.

I was similar to Direwolf in which I watched a few episodes here and there. Never really seen the original (except the movie), but I feel this is superbly made.

I tried to find Series One DVD, but was difficult to find. I finally found it, and cheaper than its price tag.

It was nice to see Cpt. Adama kiss President Roslin, after all the conflict of interests between them in previous Episodes. He's found out she is tougher than he first believed. That and the fact she is still leading the remnants of humanity whilst on her deathbed

BSG is superb, especially the second series, which is building up some great momentum. I agree completely about its many layers, and love the depth that each character brings to the show. At times you can almost smell the tension and fear in the air.

Best thing on tv at the moment imo, and the only sci-fi i've seen that can match B5

BSG is very disturbing -in a post 911 kind of way- but totally compelling. One of the best shows around at the moment.
This second series had me ready to give the third season a miss (too much overlooked, too little coherence) but that last episode has me hooked all over again.

Damn you BSG !!

Don't expect much of the episode 'Black Market'. Apparently its shit. Its the second episode after resurection ship part 2.

Dr Baltar's brain is fragging annoying, keeps on having sex with someone whos not there. Feel sorry for Starbuck

Yeah, I'm really liking it. Along with Invasion it's my favourite T.V. show on at the moment.

Absolutely fantastic series. My favourite on TV by a country mile.

Why i like it? Dramatic story, unpredictable (the ending season 2 interesting) great characters, great cast, great music.

Season 3 hurry the hell up.

I have the mini-series coming on dvd from netflix soon. I've heard it's really good and actually has the highest production values of any TV show.

Well I haven't watched the series but I've watched the 2 part movie and it seemed kind of boring to me, to much talk and few action scenes IMO. They are kind of primitive for an advanced civilization aren't they, I mean they still use nukes, missiles, machine guns. But still I would watch it , but non of the channels in my country are currently broadcasting it .
