Battlefield 1943: the next BF on PC?

Which is what happens anyway when you have 64 players all just running around.

My point is from my experience with BF2 is that the classes are balanced in a way where it kinda encourages people to work together, yes sometimes there are tiny squads in 64 man servers. *gasp* I mean if you've ever joined up in a small organized squad you would know how great the experience is doing pockets of damage here and there for the big win.

No Limit: Well there's a regular Conquest mode to play aswell so if you want to play traditional Battlefield then you just hop on to that. Personally though I prefer Gold Rush as the game becomes much more focused for everyone to attack one position but in a variety of different ways. The distances are great for vehicles but also not too much of a slog to hump it with the infantry, plus you can spawn on your squad anyway if they are in the field so it doesn't matter anywho. Generally, I like it because it's a welcome change to the bog standard Conquest.

I couldn't stand Battlefield 2 because it was just one big cluster**** of idiots running left, right and center and I would often find myself single handily taking a flag on one side of the map with no trouble whatsoever because everyone else was spamming points on a more central flag cap.

You know how damn long I've been waiting for this? WAI TOO LONG

Looking at the trailer, it looks quite poor actually. 24 player maps? graphics worse than BF2? dumbed down for consoles by the looks.

No the graphics do not look worse then BF2,did you even watch the trailer?

Yes, that's why I said "Looking at the trailer", did you even read my post?

Previous 1942/BF2 fans aren't going to like this game for various reasons.

- small number of classes
- 24 player maps means less squad based work and more "every man for himself" gameplay.
- regenerating health (wtf?)

+ many more reasons that Apocalypse89 has stated. If you ask me this game looks more 'arcade' than anything.

So youve now abandoned your "BF2 LOOKS BETTER" argument?
And i disagree 24 player maps do not encourage more "every man for himself" gameplay, thats what 64 player maps do.

Ok, you obviously want to go down with the ship, so I'll let you go.

Lets all reinstall and play BF1942.

Hell I'm down with that.

I get the "every man for himself" shit in every server, regardless of whether its 64 or 24 players. Hell, i actually see more organization in the 64 servers.
