It's the first video on the menu. Looks great, this is without a doubt my Half-Life 2 for 2005. Notice how the game seems more "smooth" and not as unresponsive as its predecessors.

that little "EA GAMES CHALLENGE EVERYTHING" makes me wanna blow my head off with a 12 guage but BF2 is really looking great. The gun animations did look really smooth there. This is going to be one kickass game for CLANS but pubbing is just going to be the same old shit.. stupid idiots running around Tking.

Yes, EA Games is publishing it but don't turn this into an EA bashing thread. DICE made the game (along with Truma Studios) and they are some of the most talented developers out there right now apart from Valve and Blizzard.

Also, they have alot of new features that are going to improve pubbing. As a matter of fact, they have a lot of new features that are going to improve just about every aspect of online shooters. I encourage you to look into all of the games features before blowing this one off guys, even if it has an EA logo on the box (Who cares honestly? I mean a good game is a good game.)

Here is a Gamespy preiview for those who don't know alot about the game. The preview is kinda old so alot could have changed since then. A good read all around though, explains alot of the new things in the game. I guarantee you'll be looking forward to this game after you read it. (Or at least interested.)

Edit: Now that I read the preview, I see it doesn't nearly tell you all the features of the game. But you get the idea.

Lets hope for the days of leaked demo like we had for bf1942. That's how I got so good at flying planes initially, with the leaked demo. I had weeks of practice before most other people and became a pro at flying the planes and bombing with them(less so with dogfighting, but still decent)

That video is old. It's been on filerush for quite some time now. This was even posted on the forums when it originally came out. Afaik the filerush one was longer, too.

I don't see why there is any hype... That game looks about as good as that chexman game that came in the chex box. (Which was a good game for it's time... but now it's sucky.)

I doubt I'll be picking up Battlefield 2. It just really doesn't interest me. The only way I'll change my mind if it recieves mind-numbing reviews. I think I'll stick with Counter-Strike: Source until I get bored of it (not bloody likely).
