Battlefield 2 new screenshots

Will BF2 be a better shooter than bf1942?, cause it was a fun game but i could never kill anyone with a rifle, machine gun, pistol, or a knife. I hope its got more shootouts than just planes blowing up everything and stuff.

I doubt that will happen, they have probably learned from BF1942. And I think Trauma Studios is working on BF2 also.

Yes they are, this game is going to kick ass its what I want the most, well behind HL2 of course.

I love that game. It is my second favorite game of all time.

I spent $45 on BF:V and can't play the game. I get horrible connection problems detected. When I do play, the bugs are horrendous and when you combine that with lag it is a horrible game. Should have spent another 6 months polishing the game. Or at least put a warning label on the box "Warning: This game is a horrible, buggy POS. Avoid this game unless enjoy having root canals done on you without anesthesia."

I'm never buying another game made by DICE again. And I will seriously consider not buying any game that is published by EA. These people shouldn't be rewarded by releasing buggy games onto the world.

This is what I always imagined TF2 to be like. Hopefully Valve has some tricks up its sleeve because that's looking pretty badass.

Yes me too...it will be something like this too from what ive read but, a little more fast paced and not as much of a real world setting.

I highly doubt that.

It will be Im almost sure of that from what gabe and doug have said about TF2, BF2 isnt scheduled till march whereas doug said that they ae near completion of tf2 already and many release dates have january for tf2....but who really knows for sure i guess, but IMO it will definitley be out before bf2 either way ill be very happy to play both whichever one is first!!

I love lots of games. Gimme a game that is not buggy or terribly laggy and I am happy. They don't have to be uber-revolutionary, they just have to be bug free, stable, and have hint of fun in it. DICE and EA have no excuse for releasing BF:V that early (well they did, to meet the end of a financial reporting deadline - that is a fact).

For WW2 games, I'm waiting for the expansion pack to Call of Duty to come out. United Offensive is looking awesome.

Another feature of BF2 is if you are flying a jet and you get out you will look like a pilot, have on all the gear, each vehicle has this feature.

I love how gamespot screenshots never load for me, oh well, I was really looking forward to those Barbie screens.

BF2 looks cool, kinda like FSW but with 1 person instead of controlling a whole squad.

For the uninformed: B:V was made by DICE Canada. BF42 was made by DICE Europe. BF2 is being made by DICE Europe in cooperation with Trauma Studios, the guys who made the incomparable Desert Combat.
So BF:V doesn't even apply.

I found this post quite amusing. Talking about responsibilities ....

The stupidest thing I ever did occured in 8th grade. me and my friend got a gallon of Jose Quevro Dequila and I took about 12 shots in a half hour. so we decide to walk to a sandwich shop, but by that time I could hardly stand. we get there, but I end up puking all over the counter. I was falling all over the place while the casheer just watched. I go outside while my friend pays, where then my pants fall down in broad daylight on a main street. we manage to make it back to his house, but then I decide I should walk home. So I walk right infront of my junior high school when the ski bus arrives. I fall into a garbage pile, but continue my long journey home. One of my class mates dads and most of the parents saw me do this, but only the dudes dad decided to give me a ride. I was in bed the rest of the afternoon and was called into the principles office the following monday. I didn't get in any trouble, but it was by far the dumbest thing I've ever done.

BF2 is coming out somtime next year, TF2 should come out a few months after Half-Life 2 or it could even come out with HL2.

No way. Think what you want, but that just ain't gonna happen. If it did, Valve would be the first developer in history to release two major titles within months of each other. Sorry, its just not gonna go down.

Yeah it will valve already stated they are nearly done with TF2, many retailers have a release date of january which i know doesnt mean much but still, also they have said that they wanted to get tf2 done and out the door almost as much as HL2, Ill put money on it that TF2 is out before BF2!!!!!!!!!!!
