Battlefield 2 v1.5 - Who's In?

I've been busy with something on my PC while keeping an eye on xfire for a few hours and nobody was playing ;/ Only Ren seemed to start the game and turn it off a few minutes later.
 
Give it time.
Most of them are probably just getting their games squared away or not quite in the right mood for it.

I'll be up for playing in an hour or so, just gotta go get some errands done.
 
The game is buggy for me. It kicks me every map change for "unidentified content" and tells me to join a server with my version even though i was just on the damn server. Rejoining works but this is too damn annoying.
 
Well, I'm in! Just installed. Downloading patches now.

Re-downloading patch. Decided it was done at 500 meg. ><

Just did the same, regardless of time zones.
 
Had a lot fun playing earlier today with Viperidae and Lucid. That's until Viper got kicked for raping the enemy's base. lol What a bunch of cry babies those canuck frogs were. Anyway, let's do this again soon.
Hopefully, more people from here will join next time.

Yeah, that was ridiculous.
We were getting ready to leave their damn base after blowing up their radar and comm station and he gets booted because he was the one driving the vehicle I guess.

It was fun though, even though I really sucked those few rounds... it was also late and I was pretty tired though.

You shot me with a rocket. I was being chased by a helicopter, trying to take down a tank, and you pop out and blow me up. NOT very nice, fellow hl2.netter.

Yeah, somehow "CyberPitz" was in use, so I had to do Cyb3rPitz. bleh.

Also, anybody notice the new loading music? More "BattleFieldesque". I like it a lot.

It's not new, it plays on maps from Armored Fury and perhaps Euro Forces as well.

Also, I like the theme, but I still think they are being lazy by reusing the same theme over and over again. There are lots of variations of it.

They're not being lazy.
That theme is the trademark Battlefield tune.

EDIT: I have to say, xfire is actually pretty cool. It integrates really well with BF2 and that flashback recording is pretty awesome. Steam could use some of the features that xfire has.

Had an amazing game last night with viper...gotta say I'm loving the new patch.
 
Does anybody still have the HL2.net VS BF2 video? I want to rewatch it....I want to feel like I'm driving my tank over the jet again.
