Battlefield Heroes Open Beta begins

Meh...

I mean I heard bad things, but then again it's free so...
 
It's a fun game with friends.
Playing by yourself is pretty meh.
 
I played it for four hours or so and never went back.
 
Man, I installed this on my other computer but it never lets me play.. Everytime I launch from the site it tells me to log in, then I log in, hit play now, logs me out and tells me to log in.. It's a terrible circle and it's pissing me off, because on this computer it works but this is a laptop and runs games like ass, my other computer can run it max..
 
Unforgivable.
Anyways...

Played it for an hour a couple days ago...I gave it a good try, but its frankly boring. I can't force myself to go back.
 
at low levels the game sucks because you spend most of your time dying. thanks to the beta opening up to the public my kill ratio has doubled :)

without abilities you are fodder for those who have abilities up the ying yang. I can cloak, walk up to you drop a troop trap, stab you, you try to run, trip my troop trap and I finish you off with ma knife! I have sprint, cloak, troop trap, and the ability to decloak other commandos abilities. without them I too died a lot


and the michael jackson, big freakin deal, he's not the messiah and even if he were, I'd jump at the chance to wear a crown of bloody pedo thorns

Am I 'spose to do something special to get the medals?

I just got an email with codes for both medals.

But it doesn't matter because I can't ****ing play the game.
 
I played it . Uninstalled it. The game makes my head hurt.Seriously.It's very noisy .
 
Just installed this. It seems like good fun but there are a few things I am confused to hell on and hoping someone can explain:

How do you switch classes in game? So far the only way I know how to do it is to leave the game and pick another class. Also, why can't you use one account name and have separate classes under it? Something along the lines of BF2 or COD4.

There is no switching between classes / sides. The game doesn't work that way. The whole character creation is more akin to a muhmorpuhger than a shooter.

Too bad Commandos are incredibly weak and I'd kill you in 2 seconds. I don't think I've ever been killed by a troop trap or knife with my soldier or gunner.
 
This game desperately needs a ****ing server browser that shows you the pings of the servers and stuff.
I've joined far too many laggy servers full of 56kers, so unplayable. :frown:

you obviously only play with newbs. I've killed 10 peeps with my knife in a single round (it's one of the missions) ..in fact I used to use the pistol but went back to knife because it's the most powerful weapon in the game (now nerfed). and troop trap is awesome, you just havent stepped on mine yet
 
commandos were nerfed in the last major update because at one point they were easily the best class in the game ..if anything gunners and soldiers were cannon fodder for everyone, especially soldiers ..easily the weakest class but now it's been flipflopped. so it's even harder to get kills with the command and yet I stil manage ..usually at a rate of 2 to 1. in conclusion you'd be dead before you even know what hit you :)
 
I don't know what you guys are complaining about, I find it quite enjoyable.
