What beer do you guys like, have anything to say about it? I very much like this Australian beer called Crown Lager.

I like almost all Belgian Beers. Pilsner Urquell from the Czech is also nice. Tusker from Kenya is great. Actually I'm beginning tothink that it's not really the taste but the memories of good times that makes me like a beer. Jesus I'm really susceptible to marketing

Oh, and Grolsch/Hertog Jan are my favorite Dutch Beers, nationalistic I am :)

Beer wise, I enjoy a pint of Belhaven Best.

I'll drink just about any lager though. 1664 is probably my favourite pint.

yeah, Stella Artois is nice I think.

There was some belgian beer I had when I was in Europe last year, can't remember what it was called though.

I don't really drink much, my parents both don't drink so we never have any beer in the house, and I'm only 14.

Vodka > Beer > Larger

Smirnoff > Smith's > Stella

Those are my best :D

Only aussie guys will know of this beer.

Smirnoff is absolutely horrible cheap nastiness.

Absolut is where it's at :)

Something strong like Stella is my weapon of choice, but I'll drink Fosters or Corona on a hot summer's day :)

Nastro Azzuro
Kronenbourg
Kronenbourg Blanc
Kronebourg Premiere Cru
Kingfisher
London Pride
Fullers 1864 (some sort of numeric denomination anyway :E)
Fullers Honeydew
Old Speckled Hen
Leffe
Duvel
Hoegaarden
Guinness

Edit:

Qft !!

To name but a few of my favourites !!

My Fave Bitters:
Tetleys Extra Smooth
John Smiths Smooth Flow
Worthingtons
Brains

Largers:
Stella
Fosters
Carling
Kronenburg 1664
Grolsch

Spirits:
Smirnoff
Vladivar

A while back my favourite beer used to be good old smexy Belgian Hoegaarden

But drinking too much of that can leave a funky taste and it's quite gassy. Nowadays more often than not I drink British stuff like Old Speckled Hen

This stuff called Firestoker is also damn tasty

When I can't get a hold of any of those I settle for this Lithuanian (I think) dark beer called Baltijos

I never used to drink beer much because I laboured under the illusion that it was all foul-tasting carpet soup, and a lot of it is, but all the above mentioned ones taste great.

Jupiler (I like Belgian beers)
Old Speckled Hen
My Godfather's home-made cider

If I have to drink a lager i'll go for a Fosters (its cheap).

Best alcoholic drink ever = Double Jameson's and Red Lemonade, or Double JD and Coke

I must say I dislike Grolsch and Carling though..

:O

I'm disappointed in you my friend

:E

Carling is good, best drink during Football

I'm sorry to say i feel similiarly about grolsch and carling

Euch !!!!

Lol

xD

Carlsberg's a good one, because at £1.50 a pint in most places who's complaining? :D

Cheap as chips.

Forgot about Corona, possibly the best bottled beer ever. And Kronenberg Blanc, that stuff is lovely. Stella.... that kills me after about four, although tasty and refreshing I tend to avoid it.

Carling is a horrid foamy chemical broth, I'm not a fan. But then I'll drink it in the absence of anything else. Carlsberg is a slightly better choice for cheap lager though.

Ahh Stella's, they kill me sometimes

One night last autumn had a couple friends over (booze too :D )

1 Pint of Fosters
6 Cans of Tetley's Smooth
2/3 Shots of Vodka/Sambuca etc

Was feelin ok, getting drunk, but in control, feelin good

My mate then says 'Ev, have a Stella!'

Baaaad choice!

Forgot everything after hitting the Stella's, was told i had about 4 of them D:

Moral of the story

Stella's can be eviiiil

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Newcastle
Guinness

Whooo! I'm drunk now!

I forgot Lowenbrau Pils. yummmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Also, Carling is f**king disgusting, but at the club me and my mates usually go to, its pound a pint. And the whiskey is astronomically expensive, so we dont have much choice.

This is so very true. Learnt this as a young lad in the pub, stella = bad !!! It's very deceptive, you don't think you've drunk that much, but then bang, goodnight !!!

Stella, Nastro and Tiger. A veritable tri-nation buffet.

On that note, singha is a beautiful (yet potent) Thai lager. I've only ever had it in restaurants so far, but hopefully I can get it in a supermarket at some point.

A great drink for great food. :)

Yes you do. :D

A new drink I'm actually quite fond of is Kopparbegs pear cider. Not much of a cider person, except for the odd Magners/Bulmers. Try it, highly recommended.

Zomg !!! Singha is gorgeous, so crisp, such a delicate yet pleasing taste. And same, i've only come across it in restaurants, but apparently it may be found in waitrose, so i shall have to check that out !!!

Beers / largers:

1. Kwak (first tried it in a great pub in Amsterdam called Wildermann but can't find it anywhere over here :( ....comes in a cool glass too!!)
2. Duvel
3. Corona
4. Hoegaarden

But at the end of the day....... Vodka > *

I'm a bitter fan, but I've got a load of Carlsberg in my fridge at the minute.
Carlsberg is alright, considering it's cheap.

I'd prefer John Smith's, Boddington's or IPA though. Or London Pride... or some Ale. Anything dark really. Or any light Ales.

Christmas Ales can be nice.

Some of you seem terribly uninformed...

lol. Vodka is fine, absolute definatly > smirnoff

But better than that, look for urus. Its fantastic vodka. Theres only one better i've tried and i forget the name. dont matter nehow. Was 30 quid a bottle..

Eerm, I love guinness, HATE carling. its foul...

Like alot of old beers too.

Meh, i'm off to the pub now coincidently!

EDIT: Boddingtons on tap is nice. :)

Vodka > Beer.
I disagree.
Gin is much, much better. Yes, yes, I am a middle-aged woman.
But beer is awesome. I'm drinking a tinny of Stella as I type. My life rules.

I don't drink beer,

Soya-Fruit-orchard-Flavour.jpg

I drink 3 of these every day, reason: I'm a bodybuilder :D

My favourite beer is Coors....
Is that weird?

1. In Ireland you can only get Coors Light which doesnt bother me so much but seems to attract 'you woman' type comments - a little unfair I think, I'm drinking the beer for the taste not to watch my ass :|
2. An American once told me that Coors is like the cheapest crap in America, but here it's just a damn good beer - Is this true?
It's all a little confusing
