Mass Effect was never skimpy on making it blatently obvious it was heavily inspired by old sci-fi films, or at least I never thought different. This box art doesn't come as much as a surprise to me, nor does it offend me much in it's fairly generic approach.

And yeah, I was disappointed at first, but then I remembered the whole paying homage to generic sci fi movies thing, and forgave them.

They had to put the goofiest ****ing alien in the game on there. Seriously, those things are ridiculous looking. Should've used an Asari.

Other than that I like the classic sci-fi style they have.
