At no point when playing a game have I thought "you know, the box art was really a good indication of how good/bad this game is".

Nope. I love it.

I like it, too. I think it's way better than the original box cover which looked way too try-hard serious when the game was very much a cheesy sci-fi romp - this looks much more fitting.
