Lol, but unless you live in a bubble, you'll know that over 95% of the people are gonna say "DARK NIGHT! OMG!", which is not completely bad, but come on, its so obvious who people are gonna like the most...

Why are people going to like it more? There's proof in this very thread that people don't. And given that 95% of the people are probably morons, I'm (as I already said) interested more in the other 5%.

like Lucidx, what do you prefer about the older ones? I kind of prefer Burton's presentation as Gotham as much more of an actually gothic city. I've been to Chciago a few times, and in Begins and Dark Knight, Gotham just feels like Chicago. It's more "realistic" which is both a good and bad thing.

Well there is always that 'immediacy theory' I can't quite remember the proper name for it, but it basically equates to the fact than New = better in most peoples minds. Which is why hype succeeeds so well, and people rush out to buy the garbage forgettable films that are released on DVD every week.

So I just rewatched the Batman movie from 1989, supposedly the best of the four old ones, and it's pretty terrible. Any one is mad if they think that it better than the new ones.

You're mad and I will SHIT ON YOU.

Well, Jack is a baby and I hope he dies off the Island. :|

Batman & Robin is the best.

BAHAHAHHA couldn't even keep a straight face.

i think the poll speaks for itself

TDK FTW IMHO

This brings up the age old debate I guess, where the original is always the best and the sequels either try too hard or are simply shit.

However, The Dark Knight flipped this over and smashed the mould. Best Batman movie, and one of the greatest performances ever.

That doesn't apply to the Batman movies, as Burton's Batman is not the source of the material.

Watched TDK again yesterday. Begins is still better.

Yeah I said it.

My favorite Batman movie is The Dark Knight. It was even better than I expected. Most of the comment is about Heath Ledger. He is no longer with us, but his performance as joker in this film is everlasting. The film's storyline has many twists and all are rewarding, the story is developed constantly after each scene, making you wonder what's next. Excellent craft and flows well towards the conclusion. I liked this film very much.
